Batara Parlindungan
Batara is a seasoned Indonesian lawyer with more than 14 years of experience. His practice focuses on complex litigation, restructuring and insolvency, competition law, tax disputes, capital markets, corporate compliance, and intellectual property. He delivers commercially focused legal strategies for corporations, financial institutions, investors, and business groups in high-stakes proceedings before Indonesian courts, law-enforcement authorities, and administrative bodies.
He earned his law degree from the University of Indonesia and is a licensed advocate with the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He is also a registered receiver and administrator for bankruptcy matters with the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI).
RESTRUCTURING AND INSOLVENCY
Batara has extensive experience advising creditors, investors, and corporate stakeholders in court-supervised restructuring and insolvency proceedings, combining dispute strategy with a practical understanding of debt settlement and business continuity.
Court-Appointed Administrator
Batara has been appointed as administrator in several PKPU proceedings, all of which concluded with successful homologation:
• PT Recon Sarana Utama – a subsidiary of PT Rekayasa Industri (SOE); oversaw the restructuring process through successful court approval.
• PT Griya Karunia Sejahtera – concluded with a successful homologation.
• PT Total Solusi Konstruksi – concluded with a court-approved debt settlement agreement.
Court-Appointed Receiver
He has also served as court-appointed receiver for PT Bostinco, PT Fors Fortis Indonesia, and PT Investa Bersama Abadi, handling insolvency administration and asset-related matters under court supervision.
NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
For three years, Batara served as a legal expert at the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN/Bappenas), advising on legal and regulatory matters relating to national strategic projects.
