He specializes in complex litigation and has represented high-profile clients in a wide range of legal disputes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He earned his law degree from the University of Indonesia and holds professional credentials as a licensed advocate under the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), as well as a registered receiver and administrator for bankruptcy matters with the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Batara has successfully handled numerous high-stakes cases, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prajogo Pangestu \u2013 Represented the client in administrative court disputes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blue Bird Group \u2013 Successfully defended the company in various litigation cases across Indonesian courts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk \u2013 Represented the company in a major cartel allegation and a separate tax case review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goldman Sachs International \u2013 Handled a complex dispute involving listed shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Morgan Stanley Indonesia \u2013 Provided legal assistance in a criminal case related to stock blocking at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mitsui Co. Ltd. \u2013 Acted as legal counsel in a Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Hutang\/PKPU) case at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guthrie Berhad Group \u2013 Successfully defended the group in litigation concerning the enforcement of a Supreme Court decision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PT Sumber Selatan Nusa \u2013 Advised on a high-value tax review case.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aetna Inc. and affiliates \u2013 Represented Aetna Global Benefit entities in civil litigation matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Sago Prima (Sampoerna Agro) \u2013 Acted as legal counsel in civil lawsuits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medco Energi Internasional Tbk \u2013 Provided compliance, intellectual property rights (IPR), and anti-corruption advisory services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PKPU of PT Berlian Laju Tanker \u2013 Provided legal assistance to a group of bondholders \u2014including HSBC, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs\u2014in a high-profile PKPU case at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Batara has been appointed as administrator in several PKPU (Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations) cases, all of which concluded with successful homologation, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PT Recon Sarana Utama \u2013 A subsidiary of PT Rekayasa Industri (SOE); Batara oversaw the restructuring process to successful completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PT Griya Karunia Sejahtera \u2013 A subsidiary of PT Binakarya Jaya Abadi Tbk, which resulted in a successful homologation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PT Total Solusi Konstruksi \u2013 Concluded with a court-approved debt settlement agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has also served as a court-appointed receiver for PT Bostinco, PT Fors Fortis Indonesia, and PT Investa Bersama Abadi.
